Applying a full set of new lashes can take anywhere from 90 to 180 minutes. Depending on the look you want to achieve, anywhere from 60–120 individual lashes will be applied to each eye. To prepare the eye area for extensions, your lash tech will tape your lower lashes down to your skin to prevent the lower and upper lashes getting glued together. While you relax with your eyes closed, your lash professional uses tweezers to find the best lashes for extensions to adhere to.
When applied properly, eyelash extensions will last the length of the natural growth cycle of your eyelashes.
How often you need a fill depends on your own growth cycle, day to day activities and on how well you take care of your lashes.
If you are careful in your daily handling of the eye area and have touchups every two to three weeks your lash extensions can last a long time.
We recommend getting a fill every 2 to 3 weeks. If you wait too long your eyelash extensions will fall out and they will look less and less full and you will require a full set. However, with regular refills, your overall lash extensions will last indefinitely. A fill averages about 60 to 90 minutes.
